The 6-Week Cohort

Six weeks. Twelve live sessions. One coach, start to finish.

Hit 750+ on SAT Math — or your next cohort is on us.

This is our core program — for students scoring around 650–740 on SAT Math who want structure, live coaching, and one coach who stays the whole way. Capped at 20 students. $999, or $599 for the Founding Cohort.

Section 01 · Fit
Fit

Who this is for.

You're a fit if

  • Your teenager is scoring around 650–740 on SAT Math (or the PSAT equivalent) and stuck.

  • They're aiming for 750+ — the top of the scale.

  • They have an upcoming College Board test date to work toward.

  • They can give about six hours a week to live sessions and practice.

  • They do their best work when someone is in the room, watching the clock with them.

You're not a fit (yet) if

  • They're starting much further back.

Our self-paced library covers the full syllabus and is the better place to build up first.

  • They need Reading & Writing help.

    We coach Math only.

  • They just want video lessons.

The Self-Paced Library is the right place to start.

  • They'd rather work 1-on-1.

The 1-to-1 Fast-Track is built for that.

Section 02 · Schedule
The schedule

Six weeks. Week by week.

  1. Week 0

    The full-length diagnostic.

Before the cohort starts, your teenager sits the free diagnostic — the real exam, 70 minutes, same format and timing as the Digital SAT Math section. The per-domain ability estimate lands in the dashboard within a day, and Gaurav reads it before the first session.

  2. Week 1

The timing mechanics of the hard second half.

Live sessions 1 and 2. What changes when the questions get harder and the clock gets tighter — and how the adaptive engine decides what you see. Desmos fundamentals: when to reach for it, when not to. Then the first live timed block — 12 problems, clock running, coach watching.

  3. Week 2

Advanced Math, where the hardest questions live.

Live sessions 3 and 4. Non-linear functions, quadratic vertex and root traps, rational equations — all under the clock. First full-length re-diagnostic at the end of the week, with the trajectory against Week 0 plotted.

  4. Week 3

    Problem Solving and Data Analysis.

Live sessions 5 and 6. The place near the top of the scale where points quietly slip away — multi-step ratio, percentage, and data-interpretation problems under time pressure. Plus the Desmos statistics tools that save real seconds.

  5. Week 4

Algebra depth + Geometry & Trig.

Live sessions 7 and 8. Heart-of-algebra at the top band (systems, inequalities with cases). Selective geometry (circles, coordinate) and trig (radian conversions, unit-circle identities). Second full-length re-diagnostic.

  6. Week 5

    Full simulation, four nights running.

Live sessions 9 and 10. No new content this week — four timed, full-difficulty simulations of the hard second half, under real-test conditions, with a coach-reviewed post-mortem on every one. This is where the last 50–100 points tend to move.

  7. Week 6

    Strategy, then the final diagnostic.

Live sessions 11 and 12. How to recover from a rough first module. Knowing when to reach for Desmos and when to trust mental math. The keyboard shortcuts that buy back speed. Then the third and final full-length diagnostic, and the projected score report.

Every week, your teenager also gets a short one-on-one check-in with their coach — the same coach, all the way through. It's optional, but most keep it, because that's where the individual adjustments actually happen.

Section 03 · Inside a session
Inside the room

Inside one live session.

Seventy-five minutes, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  1. 00:00 – 00:05

    Open the dashboard.

A quick read of the week's practice, the ability-estimate trajectory, and the latest timing on the hard second half.

  2. 00:05 – 00:20

    A short teaching segment.

Fifteen minutes at most. One technique, one worked example, one trap to watch for.

  3. 00:20 – 00:50

The hard, timed second half — live.

Twelve problems at real difficulty, on a 25-minute clock, with the coach watching every screen and coaching in the chat as it happens.

  4. 00:50 – 01:05

    The debrief.

We walk the block together — what cracked, what ran out of time, and the pattern underneath it.

  5. 01:05 – 01:15

    The week's targeted drills.

Personalized for each student and loaded into the library before anyone logs off.

Section 04 · Full stack
The full stack

What's included. Itemized.

  • 01

The full-length diagnostic at week 0.

The same free, 70-minute diagnostic everyone takes — but Gaurav reads yours before the cohort starts.

  • 02

Twelve live coaching sessions across six weeks.

Seventy-five minutes each, with one coach who stays the whole way.

  • 03

    A weekly one-on-one check-in.

Six in all, with the same coach.

  • 04

    Three full-length re-diagnostics.

In weeks 2, 4, and 6 — real test simulations, each with its own post-mortem.

  • 05

    The full practice library.

A focused library built around the hard, timed problems near the top of the scale, every one ability-weighted, with an adaptive practice-set generator.

  • 06

    Every video lesson.

The masterclass series on the hard second half, and the Desmos fluency series.

  • 07

A year of Self-Paced Library access after the cohort.

Keep practicing, keep retaking diagnostics, long after the six weeks end.

  • 08

A direct line to your coach during the cohort.

    Message Gaurav, and Gaurav replies.

The 750 Pact

Hit 750+ — or your next cohort is on us.

Still short? We keep coaching you in weekly Office Hours until you hit 750 or graduate high school.

No refunds. We do not bet against you. We keep teaching.

Three conditions, the same ones we hold to everywhere on the site: attend 90% or more of your sessions, complete 85% or more of your practice each week, and sit all three diagnostics.

FAQ

Cohort questions.

What time are the live sessions?

+

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00–8:15 PM US Pacific. Works for US West Coast (our primary ICP) and is reasonable for US East Coast. India students typically catch the replay the next morning.

Are sessions recorded if I miss one?

+

Yes — every live session is recorded and posted to the library within a day. That said, the Pact asks for 90% or more attendance, because there's no real substitute for being in the room while the timed block is live.

What if I need to reschedule a 1-on-1 check-in?

+

Reschedule via the booking link in your dashboard, up to 12 hours before the slot. After that, the slot counts as used.

Do you accept mid-cohort enrollment?

+

No. Once the cohort starts, it's closed. You can apply in advance for the next one.

Can I switch to 1-to-1 Fast-Track mid-cohort?

+

If your diagnostic trajectory shows you'd be better served by 1-on-1, we credit the unused cohort time toward Fast-Track. Email gaurav@acadmaster.com for the exact credit.

What's the time commitment?

+

About six hours a week — two 75-minute live sessions, one short one-on-one, and roughly three hours of targeted practice. Re-diagnostic weeks add two or three more.

Do parents need to attend anything?

+

No. Many parents join the onboarding call and the final score-debrief call, but both are optional.

It's the real exam, full length — 70 minutes — and Gaurav reads every one himself. If the ability estimate and the schedule are a fit, pricing is the next step.

Founding Cohort seats: 20. Standard cohort seats: 20 per cohort. When they're full, they're full.
